👻 X Shadowban Checker
Live probes against X itself: search visibility, logged-out timeline retrieval, and whether your replies actually show up in threads. Catches the account-level filters other checkers miss.
What this means & what to do
X never publicly confirms shadowbans, and no external tool can read X's internal flags. This tool measures what actually matters instead: what search, a logged-out viewer, and thread pages really show for your account, live at the moment you run it. Results are cached for 15 minutes.
What This Tool Checks (and why most checkers get it wrong)
A "shadowban" on X isn't one thing — it's several independent visibility filters, applied silently. Your own logged-in view always looks perfectly normal, which is exactly why people don't notice for days. Most checker sites run a single search query, so an account with a heavier account-level filter can even pass them.
- Search ban — a
from:yousearch returns nothing, so non-followers can't discover your posts. We run that search live. - Timeline blindness — the heavier, account-level filter: a logged-out viewer can't retrieve your posts at all, even directly. Search-only checkers never test this.
- Reply hiding (deboosting) — the sneakiest one: the reply counter under a post still counts your reply, but people opening the thread never see it. We take your most recent reply and check whether it actually appears under the post it answered.
- Honest limits — search suggestion bans (your handle missing from the typeahead dropdown) and reply ranking (being folded behind "Show more replies" in huge threads) can only be verified manually from a logged-out browser — we tell you when and how.
Shadowbans are almost always behavioral, not content-based: high-velocity replying, liking and following at machine-like pace trips X's platform-manipulation filters even when every action was done by hand. They typically lift on their own days to weeks after activity normalizes — the worst responses are mass-deleting, going silent then bursting back, or creating a new account to route around it.
